What is a gaping maw, but a hungry, wide-open mouth, wanting more? It’s not a flattering image, but sometimes the status quo is bullshit. Wanting more is an essential part of living. It inspires us to go after what we want.
The trouble arises when we assume “If…Then.” If we could just have more love, more money, more sex, more freedom, more (fill in the blank), then we’d be happy.
How much is enough? What’s really important? Each of us has a different answer to that, and in the meantime we can want more AND be grateful for what we already have.
