In The History of Photography, William Henry Fox Talbot said that “photography documents the injuries of time.” In her book, On Photography, Susan Sontag says said that photography is “the inventory of mortality.”

In this series, I explore the concept of life and death, balancing, as Carlos Castaneda said, “the terror of being alive with the wonder of being alive.”
