This sculpture speaks to how we armor ourselves against pain and fear–an armor that can constrict the backbone of our authentic selves.
A fluid, ash-green glaze embodies the impermanence and permeability of our imagined armor around the core of our being. There is nothing, really, that will secure our safety.
