Wading through our inauthenticities and the inauthenticities we perceive in others, we sometimes encounter our fear of repercussions from so-called “meanness,” self-centeredness, cruelty, self-importance, and ego-driven, unbridled power. Kali–the Hindu deity of creation, preservation, and destruction is a revered aspect of the Divine. She is all about standing in our own power regardless, facing our fears and destroying what no longer serves us.
When we learn to acknowledge our fears and walk through them, open-heartedly, settling for nothing less, that is real power.
