What sources of wisdom are worthy of our attention? How do we recognize TRUTH? Is it presumptuous to rely on personal wisdom or are we just telling ourselves what we want to hear? And how do we discern the deepest intentions of those offering us advice?
Round and round turned the divining wheel of fortune, until I discovered the one reliable source, my body. This became a process of creating a relationship with my body’s knowing and sensitizing myself to it.
There really isn’t any truth with a capital T, there are only preferences. Through trial and error, we calibrate what feels right for ourselves and what, with its sharp hook of agenda, feels like manipulation.
