Why open our hearts? And once opened, do we insist it stay open? Is it the state of openness or the process of opening? What exactly is supposed to enter this opening and should I lock the door once this long-awaited goodness enters?
If there is never closing, can there be opening?
I imagined a bird, uncaged, unhurried, comforted in the knowing that home always patiently awaits its return, just as it celebrates its freedom to fly away again to explore.
